Class Action Suit Filed Against DHS
A class action lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security was filed in an Illinois last week. The suit, filed by the Heartland Alliance's National Immigrant Justice Center, an immigrant advocate group, challenges the constitutionality of detainers. U.S. Health Care Reform Law Challenged By 21 States
Lt. Governor Peter Kinder has been joined by 21 states in a constitutional challenge against the the federal health care reform law. Earlier this week a brief was filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit Court.
